I’ve made my own ranch dressing and dip since high school. The packets are expensive and contain all sorts of ingredients I don’t want in my body… and don’t get me started on bottled dressing! It was nice to have that base to work with to make AIP and Paleo versions.
I keep squeeze bottles of this in the fridge at all times, and I always have a batch of the mix made up. We usually do vinaigrettes on salads but we like to drizzle this ranch on tacos, buffalo chicken sweet potatoes, snacking veggies, grilled chicken… anything and everything. I also use the mix as an ingredient in my twice-baked potatoes, some sauces, and anywhere else it seems like it would belong.
Ranch Dressing Mix
Notes
This recipe makes about half a cup of the mix to be used in multiple applications. It will store in your cabinet as long as the spices it contains.
